On June 30, Lupita De Loa of YLI Fresno's West SALUD council and Albert Maldonado, Senior Director of Programs for the Central Valley, presented at the Voices for Change: Connecting the Dots Between Prevention & Health Care conference hosted by California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN) in Los Angeles. The goal of the conference was to share policy solutions, and advocacy tools and solutions that offer a holistic approach to building a healthier California for communities of color and low-income communities. In the video clip , Lupita explains the SALUD councils' photovoice projects and illustrates why the photos are crucial evidence of communities in need.
