FNL Summer AlcoEnergy Drink Campaign in Full Swing

The AlcoEnergy Drink (AED) campaign engages urban Fresno youth in learning the attitudes, behaviors, and environmental factors related to youth consumption of AEDs. This summer, Youth Leadership Institute convened three FNL chapters to develop, produce, and showcase youth-led action research findings, AED marketing strategies, and related health and safety factors in select Fresno communities.

Recently, youth hit the streets armed with tools created by local FNL chapters to educate store owners/merchants about AEDs and similarly marketed alcoholic beverages. Youth also applied stickers to refrigerator units that clearly identify AlcoEnergy Drinks to minimize consumer and merchant brand confusion.
