This May, Club Live Youth reached out to two corner store merchants near their Boys and Girls Club asking them to pledge to not share alcohol to minors.
“We got pledges signed so that they [merchants] won’t sell beer to kids. This is important because the stores know that we care about ourselves. If kids try drinking, they can start drinking all of the time which is not safe or healthy.”

“The purpose of doing the pledge is to get minors to stop drinking. We had the owners of the stores sign the pledge promising not to sell to minors. This is important because when minors drink they can get drunk and hurt themselves or somebody else.”
